County Councillor Oppenheimer would like to inform residents that the family history website ‘Ancestry’ is available to view free of charge at all Hampshire Libraries and the Hampshire Record Office at Winchester. The website has recently added digital images of many Hampshire Parish Registers including baptisms, marriages and burials and Hampshire Wills prior to 1858.This is a useful resource for anyone wanting to trace their Hampshire ancestors.
